I've been pondering about this theme of non duality and serenity and don't really know what it actually is or mean experientially. In 10 years of personal development I found practicing releasing emotions the only thing that would give me a relief But yet temporary. My pursuit has always been knowing myself and I got many tools to self enquiry. What I feel help me now and I've been missing, was to be able to contact a centre inside of me were I feel things from a more neutral space and I'm not fully immersed in it. Some people call it the witness. Is that serenity? Don't know...when I contact that space I do feel more at peace, because I'm not "inside" the emotions or the drama or the reaction.. I'm able to step back..is that non duality? For a long time I was so focused on the importance to feel and fully express emotions to heal, but I think I got lost into it.. with the result of making my identification with the emotions stronger. Is detachment what I'm pursuing? And is that possible as a private to achieve? Love Abhi
