Very well explained!

This is indeed the "predator's mind" from Casteneda's book!

Notice the predator by seeing it in others and realizing it's a shadow of you...

Right now , there is a person named Andrew Huberman who's personal story line inside of his intimate relationships was held up to public scrutiny , to be compared with the public persona of being a health hack guru , and scientist . I would like to offer that sometimes "SCIENCE " can also be utilized by avoidant or incapable examiners of the full on biological life experience -- be that science psychology or biology . Like you say here , this life experience may need the occasional strategy -- even if the strategy is go sit in the corner for a time out , but we should not adhere to one strategy thinking it is going to carry the day . I liked this topic , thank you for doing the focused work you are doing . - Jen

You could of course say that the seeming resurgence in nostalgic back-to-the-past forms of Christianity promoted by those who are (mostly) on the right side of the culture wars is a leading edge vector of this syndrome. Much is made of those who have either rediscovered their childhood religious heritage (brain-washing) or who have somehow decided to convert to such forms of back-to-the-past religiosity.

A few lines I was taught as a child - something like this.

Yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, little ones to him belong because they are WEAK and he is strong, this I know because the Bible tells me so.

And

What a friend we have in Jesus with all our sins and griefs to bare.

Speaking of the predators mind the phenomenon described here fits that scenario perfectly
