Grounding Technology in Biology - Beyond Transhumanism 2022 .

Basically as technology is rapidly expanding , we need to as seriously attach new biological discoveries and develop new vocabulary that not only describes the two aspects in terms that the other half can comprehend , kind of like calling kids doing their homework " downloading " or computers working on a math problem as " Processing" or " Thinking " But new LINKING LANGUAGE that sets the tone of a two way street between mechanized scanning and biological comprehension -

Technology must be seen as a working partner of the human biology , not as a dominator nor as a slave . No different than the hand that you pick up your cell phone with , the cell phone must be seen as a second level of hand .

I guess the question is , is the body just a can of chemical reactions , or is it actually integrated aspect of consciousness ? To me , the mind is merely a placental filter between the external reality and the internal perfect experience , Is it just as my teacher Neville Goddard says " a flesh pot " that always makes me laugh . I have to believe that it is as incredible as anything outside of it . As a maternal heart , my babies were so amazingly perfect and still are , even though they are all over 6 feet tall and full of holy baloney !

Hi Dev

Interesting and thought-provoking as ever!

So much I could riff on here, but I will restrict myself to two things.

The first is a reflection that came to mind as I read what you wrote about our general focus of attention becoming ever more mind-based. One of my sometime teachers (I don't recall for sure whether it was Paul Linden or Francis Briers) speaks of the body becoming a 'taxi for the mind/brain' and I see the truth in this.

What I hadn't spotted before is the complete turnaround to the notion (which I have come across elsewhere) that the brain only exists for the purpose of movement (hence the sea squirt digesting its brain once it attaches permanently to a rock). I don't know if this assertion is ultimately correct, but it was the near 180 degree shift which suddenly struck me and made me wonder why 'life' might be doing this.

The second is the following interview with Manda Scott which I happened to listen to earlier. The model that she presents is the closest I have come across to where my ponderings have taken me when I seek the 'cosmic' perspective on our human predicament (and remember to move away from a narrow, anthropocentric view). The reason it comes to mind here is to remind myself that the things you speak of in your post sit in a bigger context and that our human existence is part of a much (infinitely?) larger system. I very much still see the thoughts you raise as relevant, but am less likely to get bogged down in a narrow focus.

I don't imagine I'll be around to witness what our evolution (or demise) will be (though the latter seems more likely to happen within that timeframe if that is the way things go), but I would love to see how the story unfolds.

Thank you, Devoraj,

You are a good writer as well as an excellent therapist.

I'm very grateful for all the videos you have available and I'm reaping the benefits of bioenergetics after several years of somatic experiencing without much movement.

I'm also starting to really notice how people ignore their bodies and live in their minds. It's all back to front but most people have no idea. Humanity taking a wrong turn.
