So you're saying woke agenda is state fueled and target is autocratic regimes in middle east?

Is china target too and why if no oil reward?

For US isn't Venezuela easier target?

Any evidence that state, primarily CIA, doing this?

Woke not just frustrated youth externalising? More symptom of internet which has globalised western life expectations

Who's in and who's out re cabal? Musk, Obama, Clintons, Putin

From my vantage the battle is old as hills, freedom v tyranny, and Davos lot are good guys. Biggest risk to westers is degradation of democratic political systems. E.g. US system captured by lobbies, and EU at best coincidentally responsive to it's "electorate". What left should be battling for is to climb freedom house democracy index ranking, which Nordics lead. Imho everything else follows. Boggles my mind that this is not central to progressive agenda. I'd like to see left libertarians but left authoritarians prevail

I'm saying there's a Machiavellian tendency in political elites to hijack emergent issues and steer them towards their own ends.

Systems within systems huh ? What and how do we individually deal with the complexity of understanding wicked problems (complex problems ) and sense making . I adopt the philosophy of Epicurus and move towards that which is nourishing , and that of various religions and global philosophies that point n the direction of non harm to self or others after that I throw my hands in the air and admit that I only understand a small , localised and random slice of reality so is ruminating on complexity nourishing me and what point do I choose to stop thinking those thoughts .

Imagining systems within systems . Gerald and his friends may well be orchestrating mini systems that eat each other due to their opposite views however whilst we wonder about “the system “, The System is looking at us or maybe when you look into the void , The Void looks back - having a sense of internal positivity in the face of the general crappolla of the world also helps and the compassion to realise Gerald and his ilk are a product of the system , a system that they have a purpose within .

Thought provoking article. I have wondered if the opposite case was true. That the seemingly engineered influx of muslim migrants into the west, and the fact that "anti-"slamophobic" has become such a big part of wokism anti-racism, is because followers of Islam are more ready and primed to accept authoritarianism. Thus I wondered if the population of the west is being engineered to have a larger proportion of muslim's and be more accepting of islam, in order to be more ready to accept the neo-feudalism which is coming?

Well, I guess it could be. Though I imagine such a thing would have to be planned quite some decades in advance.

I do think that Western strategists have recognised that authoritarian regimes, in particular China, have some competitive edges over Western liberal regimes and are trying to drive the West more in that direction.
