[Yes, more GeoPol! Will create some therapy content soon, honest.]
Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, Western media have been pushing the narrative that the Russians are suffering catastrophic losses in their bid to claw back chunks of their one-time territory. One regularly hears figures of them losing one million plus soldiers to roughly a tenth that number by Ukraine.
Independent reports tend to lean to a reversal of that statistic, especially when one considers regular Russian army and not the other groups Putin has co-opted in. Yet, Trump's new appointee, General Kellogg, has been repeating it in his discussions with Putin. Now we see why.
Yesterday, Trump stated that that since Russia "fought for that land"… "and lost a lot of soldiers" doing so, it should be given former Ukrainian territory!
Will the Western media now revise their figures of losses in order to fight Trump's proposal? We shall see.
Endless war that reminds me of the movie Wag the Dog.
Somehow with their higher death rate, Ukraine still has soldiers? Smells like BS.
Also what's the UN for? Nothing it seems when it comes to preventing the years that Ukraine was shelling the Donbass. (Also nothing when it came to Gaza.)
This makes a lot of sense. Orwellian 1984 endless war used to screw people over on both sides. The party wins.
