The last decade of Western cultural expansionism, pursued via “soft power,” has taken a horrific toll on the raw libidinal energy of the average Westerner.
Our media has guilt-tripped us into trying to be some perfect kind of person, not for the good of the humanity, but simply to roll model the West as an ideal place to live in - one that the average non-Westerner might aspire toward, thus motivating them to regime-change their existing government.
The strategy has been an utter disaster and actually the West has been the main loser, whilst your average non-Western despot is more secure than ever. But that’s another story.
The more pressing issue is how to get the West’s energy back up. How to get our individual libidinal fire back into gear.
Worrying about how-the-world-should-be is utterly devastating to our personal energy. It requires us to live in our minds, oppressed by moralistic visions of who we “should” be, and thus disengages us from the processes of life itself.
In reality, the more people who can stop worrying about how the world is and start getting busy with who they are, the better things will be. The real, embodied you cannot be modelled. It cannot be found with short cuts. You might get inspired by social media personalities. But if you simply try to model their behaviour, you’ve lost yourself.
The body holds the key. Your body holds your key.
Your body is a 3D map of your past. Unlike the mind, it cannot BS you. The patterns that we hold, that are represented in our muscle system and fascia, are the keys to our future. As we look inside and, importantly, start to work on those patterns, our future becomes revealed to us. They are not just blocks to be overcome. They are keys to our true selves.
And as you begin to work with your body through Bioenergetics and related practices, you will find your libidinal energy rising. This will present more problems. Your desire and aspirational nature will begin to get on your ass to do still more, challenging you to keep stepping up.
Libido was identified by Freud as a key component of psychological health over a century ago. It’s scary to feel the sheer level of vital force that can flow through our bodies. It’s so much easier to be a half-ass, fitting in with our friends and never rocking the boat.
As libido starts to rise, those images of who we are, held tightly in our frontal lobes, will start to get pounded. Visions of who we might become, in all their horror or glory, will start to freak our ego-dominated mind out. Go back to playing safe, it will say. Over and over again.
But if you hold to the course, you will at some point start to step beyond the boundaries that your culture has imposed upon you. You will begin to create a new humanity through your own devoted effort; through your willingness to not listen to ideas of who you should be; to not be guided by a vision; but to instead keep working through the blocks until you actually embody a new humanity.
I think it is important to appreciate how different a challenge this is to those we faced in our recent past as a species. It is not about being inspired by a vision, an image of who we could be, or how a future society might look. In an age of ubiquitous memetic nonsense, that is no longer an option. Forget all visions. Each of us must look for our own true self.
Anyone can do this. Your cultural background doen’t matter. Your wealth doesn’t matter. It is immaterial how traumatized or conditioned you think you are. What matters is whether you are up for it.
If enough people take this challenge on, a new leadership class will emerge. We will climb to higher and higher heights. Humanity will be reborn, over and over again. If we don’t, there may not be so much time left. A certain number of people need to step up to the plate? Are you one of them?
Yep and the biggest issue is that we have been taught to ignore our body and our senses.
It's the way that these oligarchs and politicians live....devoid of connection to reality. That's why they seek tech to live forever while ignoring that our body is higher tech than any shit they can invent.

I like qi gong and a lot of the exercises remind me of yours, which help open up the chest and hips, both critical.
