It's been a long, slow Spring here in Istanbul. But now it seems like the temperature is quickly rocking up towards thirty degrees. I'm back heading down to the Bosphorus in the afternoons, like last year, to swim and hang out with the gang of old guys who do the same. Little by little, I can have the most basic convo in Turkish.
I was in the UK for a couple of weeks, doing heaps of social stuff. But now I've gone back into semi-monk mode. I'm eating one meal a day, which seems to allow my body to create more energy and am back immersed in studying Qabalah, as I was a couple of decades ago. I feel like it's a good time to keep pushing a little deeper and not just cruise. I feel more self-respect when I take myself on in this way and I feel like my awareness does deepen and my inner mystic slowly comes alive. I think it's so great that we have this option to go deeper, whilst we are alive. There is so much inside life.
I'm back in Britain again later this month with a 3-day Body-Based Therapy group at Osho Leela. There are still a few places, I think, so check it out if you want to get into the work or just need something to shift where you are at right now.
My book-writing chugs along at a more leisurely pace than earlier this year, when some force was driving me like crazy. I'm now busy with my Qabalah & Bioenergetics crossover book and the third instalment of my novel series, Lemurian Pushback, which is garnering good reviews. The first part is still available for free here.
Summer is coming and the heat feels a little scary, though Istanbul doesn't really get that hot. But I may pop back to Brighton for a week in August to chill out nonetheless.
I send you love
Devaraj
